Change Management

We are passionate about change management and believe it to be one of the most important elements of any program.

Change Management

Importance

The demonstration of compelling benefits is key in achieving a real return on investment, regardless of the change. Where these are clearly understood and accepted, the enthusiasm to obtain training and make the transition will require far less encouragement.

Change management programs typically include some or all of the following activities:

  • Designing a clear communications strategy and plan.
  • Delivering appropriate training based on user needs.
  • Development/enhancement of strong user support and feedback structures.
  • Defining SMART adoption metrics to track organisation/employee progress.

Because the needs of each business are different, our approach is flexible. We can manage and implement all elements of your change program including the communications strategy, training and delivery or we can be engaged for key tactical components like conducting a training needs analysis or developing content.

Teamwork

Communications

For business change to be successful the ground must be paved by clear communication highlighting the benefits and providing an explanation of the:

  1. Who - will be affected.
  2. Why - the program is needed (this should underpin the case for change)
  3. What - the changes are.
  4. When - the changes are to be implemented.
  5. How - the transition from current to future state will be achieved.

To accelerate the pace of change, real efforts should be expended early on to help ensure all team members are informed and possible challenges/objections are identified and addressed.

At Titanium Fire, we have worked with a wide range of organisations to develop their strategic communications approach. We recognise the importance of both one and two way communication techniques, and the effective use of technology to leverage from new channels i.e. social media to engage different peer groups.

Business Training

Training

The importance of needs based training is often underestimated and is the most common cause of adoption issues. At Titanium Fire we recognise each team/organisation is different, both in structure, skill levels, locations, and resource commitments. We employ a blended learning approach, which enables our clients to structure the delivery of training to best meet, the needs of their teams and budgetary constraints. Typical offerings include:

  • Classroom sessions (usually up to 8 people/class).
  • Train-the-Trainer courses.
  • eLearning packages.
  • Virtual webinars.
  • Coaching (one-on-one skill development).
Adoption

Adoption

Prior to go-live it is important to develop a framework of key performance indicators (KPIs). These metrics should be embedded into the implementation using a series of reports and dashboards to support accessibility, collaboration and real-time response to issues. Typical areas adoption metrics cover include:

  • Usage (Login rates, records created, activities completed).
  • Data quality.
  • Business performance.

Our adoption strategies have brought significant success to a broad range of implementations covering global transformation programs, to small pilot schemes aimed at building company buy-in to larger change programs. We have extensive experience of developing KPI frameworks as stand alone deliverables, or as part of an existing business performance strategy.
